How to play Worst Class Ever

Worst Class Ever is a 1–6 player asymmetric chase set in class. Up to five players are students who hide among NPC classmates and pull pranks. One player is the teacher who tries to catch them. The full game is still upcoming, with a planned Steam date of November 9, 2026. This page uses that store description and stops where the store page stops.

The two roles

Steam describes a match as students versus one strict teacher. The short store text says five players are mischievous troublemakers and one player tracks them. The longer description says the same split and adds that the lobby supports 1–6 online players. Students hide in a crowd of NPC classmates. The teacher uses observation to pick the humans out.

Read the role pages for the store wording aimed at each side: the teacher guide and the student guide.

What a round is about

The store page frames an ordinary campus scene as a chase. Students wait for the teacher to look away, then finish pranks and slip back into the crowd. The teacher watches for small tells and tries to stop the pranks. Steam calls the result a showdown between teachers and students, and says friends “prank and trick each other.”

The pranks named on the store page are:

  • Sneaking snacks. Steam’s examples are spicy strips and crisps, eaten when the teacher is not looking.
  • Passing notes. The store page calls these secret notes passed in class.
  • Using phones. Players use phones secretly during class.

Maps and props, in one pass

Steam names three kinds of place: bright daily classrooms, dim evening study rooms, and fully-equipped computer labs, plus “and more.” It says each classroom has its own hiding spots, prank tasks, and interactive mechanisms. It does not list those spots or tasks. The maps page keeps the wording and leaves layouts unmarked.

Students are told they can use smoke bombs, stun guns, drones, and “other funny items” to set traps, make a mess, and distract the teacher. Teachers get “professional detective props,” with no item names. See the props page.

Online, LAN, cloud, and sharing

The features called out for players are Online PvP, LAN Co-op, Steam Cloud, and Family Sharing. Steam’s category list also tags the app as multi-player, PvP, LAN PvP, co-op, online co-op, custom volume controls, and stereo sound. The store text itself is a teacher-versus-students chase. It does not explain how the co-op tags sit next to that chase.

Languages on Steam

Seven languages are listed: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, French, German, Japanese, and Korean. Full audio is marked only for Simplified Chinese. The store table shows interface and subtitle support for English, both Chinese variants, French, and German.

Codes, controls, and numbered tips

Steam does not publish redeem codes, a control diagram, round length, or a scoring table for app 5175310. This wiki will not invent a codes list or a “best prank” order. When a patch note or the store page states a number, the matching guide can quote it.

Can you play something now?
